The Finnish Saturday School in Cardiff is a non-profit charity supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. We provide play-based Finnish-speaking tuition for children and slightly more serious Finnish language classes for adult learners. The classes are open to anyone interested in the Finnish language or culture.

The Suomi-koulu (Finnish School) currently includes four groups: a parent and baby/pre-school group, Suomi-koulu for 4-8 year olds, digi fun club for over 8-year-olds, an advanced Finnish learners’ class and beginners’ classes for adults.
As a member of the Finnish Saturday School in Cardiff your personal details will be held on its membership database. This information is held purely for the purpose of informing you of the activities of the school and the Finnish Circle and helping the teachers plan the classes. The school is a non-profit charity and relies on the help from the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The funding application is submitted in the autumn and we will need to include children’s names and dates of birth. Any other details will not be released to persons or organisations outside the school. The personal details will only be kept as long as necessary.
