Tervetuloa Cardiffin Suomi-kouluun!
Meillä on kaksi uutta innostunutta opettajaa ja tapahtumarikas vuosi tulossa! Oppilaita löytyy ummikoista suomea sujuvasti puhuviin, vauvasta mummoihin! Lasten ryhmien opettajien esittelyt löytyvät edellisestä postauksesta.
Kouluaika on siirretty iltapäivään, klo 14.30–16.30. Tapaamme tutussa paikassa Capel Salemin tiloissa Cantonissa. Ensi vuoden koulupäivät ovat seuraavat:

Nyt ensimmäisellä kerralla meillä on lasten suomenkielisten pelien, kirjojen ja DVD-levyjen lahjoitus/vaihtopöytä. Tule tekemään löytöjä ja/tai lahjoita vanhat pois!
Tuntien välissä kioski ja kahvila on auki: tervetuloa juomaan kuppi kahvia/teetä herkkujen kera!
Meillä on kaksi lasten ryhmää sekä ryhmät aikuisopiskelijoille. Aikuisten ryhmä kokoontuu talvella muutaman kerran eri aikaan, lisätietoja aikuisten opettajalta Sirkulta.

Welcome to the Finnish Saturday School in Cardiff!
We have two new teachers for children’s groups (see post below for their introductions), and an eventful year ahead! There are learners from newbies to fluent Finnish speakers, from babies to grandparents!
The school will be held in the afternoon, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. We meet in the same place as previous years, in Capel Salem in Canton. The school dates for the year are:

We have arranged a children’s Finnish book, DVD, and games exchange for the first session at the end of September. Bring over yours and/or feel free to pick up resources to support your and the children’s Finnish!
In between lessons the café is open, you are welcome to drink a cup of coffee, tea or juice (voluntary donation) and buy Finnish treats!
There are two groups for children and two groups for adult learners. The first session of the adult group is on the 30th of September but the October and November meet-ups may be on a different date, contact Sirkku for more information!
